Salesforce Ventures launches $100m Japan Trailblazer Fund ⠀

Salesforce (NYSE: CRM), the global leader in CRM, today announced that Salesforce Ventures, the company's global corporate investment group, has launched the Japan Trailblazer Fund, a new $100 million fund to empower Japanese startups in the Salesforce ecosystem. With this new fund, Salesforce Ventures strengthens its position as one of the leading foreign corporate venture capital investors in Japan and deepens its commitment to creating the world's largest ecosystem of enterprise cloud companies to fuel customer success. ⠀ The $100-million Japan Trailblazer Fund is the ninth fund launched by SalesForce Ventures since 2014. In May of this year, the firm launched the Canada Trailblazer Fund with $100 million. It first introduced Salesforce1 Fund in September 2014, with $100 million in commitments. The Japan Trailblazer Fund was launched during the Salesforce World Tour Tokyo, part of the Salesforce World Tour global roadshow.
